Because the expansion and contraction of the parapet wall is more obvious, our company uses dual rigid and flexible waterproofing at this location to completely solve the problem of leakage. After the completion of the first phase of the project, the personnel had not withdrawn, and the second phase of the project started immediately.

The original waterproof layer is aging and failed. Under the thermal expansion and contraction of the roof and the pressure in the structural layer, the original waterproof membrane breaks and peels off the base surface, and the waterproof effect becomes weak. Rainwater enters the insulation layer through the original waterproof layer, and then penetrates through the structural layer to the intersection between the parapet wall and the roof to seep into the room, and the intersection between the expansion joint and the floor board flows into the room, causing water leakage.
