How to save the waterproof coating after opening?

1. The waterproof coating should be used up as soon as possible after opening, because the coating is prone to chemical reaction when it is in contact with the air, which affects the performance of the coating. If you want to save it, it must be sealed. This is the most basic storage condition.

2. Waterproof coatings, like other coatings, should be stored in a cool, ventilated, and dry place to prevent direct exposure to rain and sunlight, and to prevent fire and heat sources. The storage temperature of the paint is generally controlled within the range of 5 -25 ℃, to prevent high temperatures in summer and to prevent freezing in winter.

3. Waterproof coatings should be stored separately during storage, avoiding storage in places prone to water, or contaminated with organic solvents, oils and other materials. It is strictly forbidden to store with flammable and explosive materials, and keep the surrounding environment clean.

4. In the warehouse where the waterproof paint is kept, it is not allowed to mix paint in the paint warehouse, so as to avoid flammable, explosive and toxic gases evaporating into the space of the warehouse, causing a safety accident. If the effective storage period is exceeded, the inspection of various indicators should be conducted in accordance with the provisions of the product's technical standards, and coatings that do not meet the requirements should be processed in time.

5. During construction or storage, proper protective measures should be taken to avoid long-term skin contact; wash with soapy water on the surface of the skin, do not use solvents.
